Transition Stroud convenes meetings of a district-wide Forum for representatives from local climate action groups to share information and learning, and discuss the potential for initiatives that can help tackle the Climate Emergency.
The Forum provides a link to Stroud District Council’s Carbon Neutral team, enabling communication and discussion between the Council and local group representatives around local issues, including the Stroud Carbon Neutral 2030 strategy.

Stroud Power: Community Energy for All, March 13 2024
The new community energy group (Stroud Area Community Energy Network) has just formally affiliated with Transition Stroud and is planning a consultative event for CANs and parishes to help identify potential renewable energy projects in your area. We hope this event will be the launch of some brand new community energy projects where you live – so come and get inspired, and find out what SACEN can offer your community.
